Ibaia Skirt – PDF Pattern
The Ibaïa Skirt is the skirt pattern to have in your pattern library. This skirt has a timeless cut. Its simple lines will enhance your different tops and blouses. To suit all occasions, the pattern comes in three lengths: mini, above the knee and midi. To ensure that the length fits everyone, I’ll explain how to take your measurements and adjust the pattern so that it falls perfectly, just as you imagined. The skirt can be worn more or less high-waisted, depending on your tastes, and I’ll also explain how to adjust the pattern. You have two fastening options: an invisible zipper on the side or a set of 5 loops and buttons on the back for more fantasy.
For the finish, choose between a bias binding or a facing.

Fabric Recommendation
The Ibaïa Skirt can be sewn in a wide range of fabrics. Choose fluid fabrics that are more suitable for the flared cut and add movement and lightness. Avoid cottons and fabrics that are too stiff. Depending on the season and the look you want, you can opt for thicker or thinner fabrics: crepe, viscose twill, viscose poplin, satin, mousseline, etc.
